Graphic Design Internship Program

Interested in interning in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-focused working environment where everyone is passionate about what they do? Working directly with Pyxl's graphic design team, our design intern will design for a wide range of marketing and communications projects, for both web and print.

Requirements:

• Current college student with focus on graphic design, web design or related field
• Strong, innovative design theory with exceptional sense for color and typography a MUST
• Well versed in all aspects of Mac applications, with emphasis on the Adobe Creative Suite
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and web applications a plus
• Strong knowledge of the print production process
• Ability to work pro-actively, manage multiple projects and perform under strict project deadlines

Web Development Internship Program

Interested in interning in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-focused working environment where everyone is passionate about what they do? Working under Pyxl's Technology Lead, our development intern will be actively involved in all aspects of web development projects currently in process. All internships start at 20 hours per week built around your school schedule and last 3 months. Successful interns may be considered for extended internship periods and in the past have been hired for full time employment after graduation. The Spring Internship period is slotted to begin in January so apply today!

Requirements:

• Significant experience handcoding HTML/CSS
• Understanding of Javascript, jQuery, PHP and MySQL
• Understanding of common LAMP Content Management Systems (e.g. Wordpress, Joomla!, Drupal, Magento, Modx )
• Some experience handling design files from the Adobe Creative Suite

Digital Communications Internship Program

Interested in interning in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-focused working environment where everyone is passionate about what they do? Pyxl is seeking a summer 2012 public relations intern to assist the Digital Communications department in its Knoxville, Tenn. office. Working directly with Pyxl's Digital Communications team, our interns gain hands-on experience on a variety of PR and social media-related tasks. This position will include completing research, writing and distributing press materials, building and maintaining media lists, monitoring and tracking brands, social media outreach, blogging and administrative and organizational responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• Preferred candidate should be a junior or senior majoring in public relations or related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of social media
• Ability to multitask, with great attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Kyoo Social Media Marketing Internship Program

Interns will be responsible for initiating hype and generating interest around a new product through social media.

The internship will involve analyzing and targeting small and specialized customer groups, in addition to outreach. Interns will help build and maintain Kyoo's online presence through social media, viral marketing, etc.

This position will include research, brand monitoring, social media outreach, reporting and concept development.
