Graphic Design Internship Program

Pyxl is seeking a design student who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-focused working environment. Located in Knoxville, Tenn., Pyxl delivers high quality digital marketing services in the areas of graphic design, web design, strategy, web development, social media and public relations for established and emerging local and national businesses.

Requirements:

• Current college student with focus on Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field.
• Strong, innovative design theory with exceptional sense for color and typography a MUST.
• Must be well versed in all aspects of Macintosh applications with emphasis on the Adobe Creative Suite. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and web applications a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the print production process.
• Ability to work pro-actively, manage multiple projects, and perform under strict project deadlines.

Web Development Internship Program

Pyxl, a Knoxville marketing services and design firm with a growing portfolio of local and national clients, is seeking a web development intern who thrives on working in a collaborative, team-focused workplace. The Pyxl Web Development Intern Program was created to expose upperclassmen or recent graduates majoring in Design/Development fields to applied web design/development. The internship will look at web design and development in a variety of forms and will show how these skills are used in the larger business marketplace.

Working under Pyxl's Technical Lead, the intern will be actively involved in all aspects of web development currently in process. The intern will observe and take part in a fast-paced team environment where everyone is passionate about what they do. Think Pyxl if you are interested in gaining work experience while expanding your exposure to a variety of web development methods used in digital marketing campaigns.

This internship requires a minimum of 20 hours per week commitment for at least 12 weeks. Compensation will come in the form of a monthly stipend. Pyxl is a Mac shop and applicants with experience using Adobe Creative Suite, HTML/CSS, Javascript, PHP/MySQL and web applications have a headstart and are encouraged to apply.

Pyxl's web development group is expanding! We are seeking highly motivated and talented developers to help us continue to push the limits in exciting new areas of web development work. As a result, we are in immediate need of contractual to full-time assistance, based on fit. If you are the kind of person who is not afraid to jump into a fast paced team environment and see projects through to the end - then you are the kind of person we need!

If you have a true mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and have experience in many of the following technologies: PHP, MySQL, jQuery, MS SQL, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Silverlight, XCode and Objective-C -- then Pyxl is interested in talking with you. We require hands on professional experience, so please send samples of your work and a description of how you contributed to the submitted project(s).
